Our Leadership Team

A licensed professional engineer, Ronald Stein enjoyed his first career in project management and engineering roles with major international engineering firms, Fluor and Bechtel. Ronald has since been instrumental in the growth of PTS Advance and has been recognized with numerous awards. At PTS Advance, Ronald’s responsibilities include development of opportunities by maintaining an active network with the leaders in the various client organizations, as well as contributing to increase Energy & Infrastructure education and literacy in the wider public sphere. Ronald also volunteers his time as a student mentor at California State University Fullerton and as an advisory board member to the college’s Center for Family Business, Center for Entrepreneurship, and Center for Leadership. Ronald holds a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from California State University, Northridge.


Dane first joined the staffing industry in 2001 in the UK, and he has since gained global experience working on executive search assignments, recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) projects, and contingent workforce management programs. This has included taking responsibility for global account management, supporting service delivery across major capital development projects in more than 50 countries, and also managing over 1300 contingent workers on deployment in the Americas region. Dane joined PTS Advance in August 2018, with a view to getting back to his passion for developing people and co-designing innovative workforce solutions for clients experiencing changes in their operating model, asset portfolio, or external market conditions. Dane also volunteers as an advisory board member for Wellness Population Solutions (WellPop), which seeks to find cost effective solutions to providing better care to government subsidized patients.


Russell Stein has decades of experience in accounting and taxation. He has managed multiple aspects of both small and mid-sized businesses, optimizing operations and controlling costs with the overall goal of increasing shareholder value. Russell is responsible for accounting, finance, payroll, taxes, banking, risk management, insurance and employee benefits. As a member of the strategic management team, he is also responsible for contributing to the growth strategy, with a particular emphasis placed upon building infrastructure that creates a strong customer experience and allows us to deliver services in multiple new locations. Russell holds a master’s degree in taxation from the San Diego University as well as a bachelor’s degree in finance from California State University, Fullerton and is a licensed certified public accountant (C.P.A.).


David Stein has decades of experience in technology and operations, including design and implementation, production, facilities management, consulting and customer relations. He is responsible for selection, installation, maintenance and training of all hardware and software for a multiple office operation with the goal to continually develop ways to increase productivity and efficiencies through the use of technology. To this end, David has been instrumental in developing a seamless remote worker environment, which continues to allow PTS Advance to hire experienced late career experts and put them in close proximity to customers, creating very strong relationships and outcomes on a consistent basis. David also manages employee safety programs and substance abuse programs as required by clients, including development of the Injury and Illness Prevention Program.


Randy Nodalo has been servicing the Engineering and Construction community since 2005. He has a successful track record of working with new clients to identify workforce management challenges, and coordinate the appropriate commercial agreements and delivery program. Randy has achieved multiple sales awards and recognition, including growing his previous operation by over 600% from 2010 to 2014, as a direct result of building specialist recruitment teams to deliver talent to clients in a close partnership model. Prior to joining PTS Advance, Randy led client solutions across the Western Region, where he managed a contractor workforce of over 250 external contractors in markets including Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, Environmental, Alternative Energy, Aerospace, and Life Sciences. He has supported high profile projects executed within the last 7 years in California including expansion of Los Angeles Airport, widening of the 91 freeway, and various refinery capital improvement and turnaround projects for the major refineries in the South Bay.


Dan has led and delivered Project-based solutions across multiple domains, including Science, Technology, and Engineering since joining the industry in 1997. As an Executive Advisor to PTS Advance, Dan is responsible for providing the branding approach, sales/recruitment training, and go-to-market vision for the Life Sciences division, with a particular emphasis within our FDA Quality, Compliance and Validation practice.  Prior to his role at PTS Advance, Dan held a number of leadership roles within the workforce management industry, including Managing Director of a global CRO and Global SOW Governance Officer of KellyOCG, where he was responsible for the oversight of $600 million in technical projects across six continents.  He also serves as the Managing Director of The Spanos Group LLC, a VA-certified Service-disabled Veteran-Owned firm (SDVOSB), that currently manages engineering and construction projects across the government and commercial sectors. Dan is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served in a variety of roles, including Infantry Squad Leader (Desert Storm/Shield), Force Reconnaissance, and Marine Recruiter.
